Handan Women's Federation Helps Rural Residents Better Understand Laws
March 27, 2023
Handan Women's Federation recently conducted various activities to publicize information about the laws and regulations pertaining to the protection of women and children's legal rights and interests, to help residents of Handan (a city in North China's Hebei Province) improve their understanding of those laws and regulations.
During their visits with residents, women volunteers, from the federation, explained cases involving the infringement of women and children's rights and interests to women in Zhuzhuang (a village in Yongnian, a district in Handan), to teach them how to protect their legal rights and interests.
The volunteers and police officers, from Handan Justice Bureau, publicized information about China's Civil Code, the revised Law on the Protection of Rights and Interests of Women, the Law Against Domestic Violence and various other laws and regulations.
